Global Changes: Floor

Contains controls used to identify floor data for which to apply global changes. Global changes can be enabled and restricted for certain types of floor data.

Note: The floor properties listed here are properties that were defined for the project that the selected rooms were created in or for all projects using the controls found on the Defaults Manager’s Constructions Defaults panel.
SettingDescription
Internal floor type When on, the internal floor construction type can be changed globally for the selected rooms.
  • New data — Used to select a new internal floor construction type. The project's available internal floor types are listed. The internal floor type selected here is the internal floor type the selected rooms will be globally changed to when the Apply button is clicked.
  • Restrict changes — When on, the changes can be restricted by selecting an internal floor type to omit from the global change. The internal floor type here will be checked for in the selected rooms' existing room data. If the data check finds the same internal floor type, the room is omitted from the global change when the Apply button is clicked.
Exposed floor type When on, the exposed (ground) floor construction type can be changed globally for the selected rooms.
  • New data — Used to select a new exposed floor construction type. The project's available exposed floor types are listed. The exposed floor construction type selected here is the exposed floor type the selected rooms will be globally changed to when the Apply button is clicked.
  • Restrict changes — When on, the changes can be restricted by selecting an exposed floor type to omit from the global change. The exposed floor type here will be checked for in the selected rooms' existing room data. If the data check finds the same exposed floor type, the room is omitted from the global change when the Apply button is clicked.
